Silience
n. the kind of unnoticed excellence that carries on around you every day, unremarkably—the hidden talents of friends and coworkers, the fleeting solos of subway buskers, the slapdash eloquence of anonymous users, the unseen portfolios of aspiring artists—which would be renowned as masterpieces if only they’d been appraised by the cartel of popular taste, who assume that brilliance is a rare and precious quality, accidentally overlooking buried jewels that may not be flawless but are still somehow perfect.

Our name perfectly summarises who we are and what we believe in. Silience Design Studio was started by graphic designer Shantih Duvel. She has a passion for print media, clever design and using her design to promote socially responsible messages.

Shantih has been living in Australia for the last sixteen years and practicing graphic design for the last seven years. Throughout her studies she has worked with private clients, charities and at The Echo.

She has worked with clients such as Future Dreamers (a former charity dedicated to young women), Moon Milk (a group of women who strive to normalise menstruation and everything that goes with it), and Paseyo (a cafe in Mullumbimby which provides plant based meals and ethically sourced coffee).
